Ok, I tell you what to do, I always wait for them to go there. Who the heck wants to rush anyways? They go there block the way, stand right in front of the entrance of the Chaos Planes. Well, I felt like my run is screwed... Then i just realized, that knockdown always works
Stay just outside of their aggro bubble and cast: Flamedjinn, Stoneflesh Aura, and Meteorshower. As soon as you finished casting meteorshower, run past them. They're gonna try to cast a hex on you first, thats why they wont attack you immediately. Well, maybe one lightning blast or something. Then they wont follow you cause MS keeps them busy You can get to the Chaos Planes easily.

Well, the only drawback is a bad spawn. Cause today i got to the chaos planes two times and failed a million times. (Well, i was so damn unlucky, i couldnt even get out of the chamber. Like aggroing the grasps without glyph of conc...) If you cant get past the Obsidian Behemoths in the gate of the Chaos Planes without setting off the traps, it just doesnt work. Cause they gonna kill you... Bleeding, crippled, Behemoths shooting at you, Charged Blacknesses casting stuffs on you... Yeah, you're gonna die pretty fast...
Anyways, this method works fairly well, all you need is a good spawn.

Once again, wear a MELEE weapon when running past behemoths. That will make them not attack you.

Well, they attack my ele too but not immediately after aggroing them. Thats the difference. (to me) Try to stay in the safe spots till the charged blacknesses sit down at the Chaos planes entrance or just run like a madman. Basically have flamedjinn on you all the time and try to use strafe in order to dodge the Obidian behemoth attacks.

No biggie, it lasts for 17 seconds (14+(0,2*14)=16,8~17), which is more the enough to use it with.
Also, if you're having trouble with it, I suggest you using the "Glyph of Swiftness" before the first hit of it (will reduce recharge to ~16 seconds), and it lasts for 17 seconds with an enchantment mod (20%). Meaning you can have a 34 second speedboost, and only 2x 3/4 cast times.

Been experiencing this myself, it is much likely that A-net discovered this and updated the AI, but I dunno...

Hi, this looks like a nice guide and a good build.
I'm wondering though, how can you pass the starting place when there are so many Dying Nightmares there?
Everytime I try this build, a DM ruins everything..

I just thought of something.
First off - Does Armor adding insignias stack?
IF they do:
http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Pris...a#Elementalist (check prismatic insignia)
Wear 4 or 5x Prismatic Insignias (assuming you have 15 fire/16 earth) one should get +40/50 armor. Meaning that Obsidian Flesh isnt needed when clearing Smites.
Just a note that could speed things up.

Insignias only affect the armor piece they are applied to.

Most of the time you wont, mayby one time in 20-25 hits you will take 1 damage.

Nope, like 1dmg in every 10secs. So you can survive it. Anyways, this prismatic isnt a bad idea, at least you can have max armor all the time.
